Researching a cure for pulmonary fibrosis

The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation strives for a world without pulmonary fibrosis. They provide resources and funding for research, clinical trials, and patient advocacy. Their primary means of generating awareness is their annual report which documents their ongoing efforts and vision for the future.

Substance developed the concept of “re:search”. The “re” serves as the preface for words that address the PFF’s work throughout the pages of the report. Resource, response, and results serve as leading messages for each section. The cover is a half page so when opened reveals re:search to read as “search” for a cure.

In addition to generating awareness the report resulted in increased funding for the year.

Our mission is not an easy one to bring to life. The Registry Report is critical to communicating the importance of our work. However, Substance is able to take complex areas of research and data and make them not just accessible but compelling. Their work delivers results and has been crucial to both our fundraising and awareness.
